Kevin O’Leary, also known as “Mr. Wonderful,” is a well-known businessman and TV personality. He was born on July 9, 1954 in Montreal, Canada and grew up in a middle-class household. O’Leary attended the University of Waterloo where he earned a degree in environmental studies and later received his MBA from the University of Western Ontario.

After college, O’Leary started his career in the business world, eventually becoming the co-founder of the company Softkey Software Products. Over time, the company evolved into The Learning Company and was eventually sold to Mattel for $4.2 billion in 1999. This marked O’Leary’s first major success in the business world.

However, it wasn’t until his appearance on the hit TV show “Dragon’s Den” and its American counterpart “Shark Tank” that O’Leary became a household name. His no-nonsense, cutthroat approach to investing and business deals earned him the moniker “Mr. Wonderful” from his co-stars and viewers alike. O’Leary’s sharp business acumen and quick wit have made him a fan favorite on both shows.
